Article: Analysing extraction uniformity using both mathematical models and measurements

I find that the attempt to "discover" the relationship between the experimental numbers and theoretical models to be refreshing. Perhaps they are on to something that a conical basket would represent not the pressure gradients but the wave of extraction from the coffee bed.

Perhaps one of these "truisms" that a column of water is best for extracting coffee - is actually wrong?

Note: The article is from 2019 so my assumption is that someone mentioned this article before - but searching came up empty. So at the sake of posting something again...
