I finally got the Acaia Pearl... some times it starts just by touching it... then I couldn't turn it off...??
And, what's the reason to have the App and Bluetooth....??
Thanks for your help.

Press and hold power to turn off. Just pressing toggles timer display on/off.

Bluetooth for apps, I don't use them.

On all of my Acaia scales it takes a quick double tap on the power button to turn them off. Use the pad of your finger. It's capacitive and needs enough finger to see the press. Sometimes fingertips can be troublesome, but pressing with your finger flat should remove that issue.

I'm not in the latest version so it could have changed. I didn't want to lose the ability to toggle from grams (for coffee) to ounces (for cooking) by holding down the Tare button. You can toggle this with the app, but that takes more time.

On my Lunar it's a quick and light double tap. Very easy and you wont change mode by accident once you get the feel for it.

Highly recommend you download the manual and keep it nearby.

Good for changing modes and fitting it to your workflow.
