Hello
I'm disappointed ... I'm such a stupid guy to have a brainless ...
I am very interested in the huky et cie ... but ... after 2 min of reflection .... I think of gas ..
In Quebec, using a propane stove is not allowed with us ...
the risks with CO2 and harmful gases are very important ...
my house has no garage ... just a basement ...

You're not allowed to have a gas range in your home?

what is that, as if you want to roast in your home without a vent...?
gas just needs adquate fresh air supply for oxygen and an exhaust.

Hello
I do not know if it is not to be recommended or .. prohibited.
to use gas at home, we need special ventilation for the gaz sytem.
like a fireplace.
At the inlet for fresh air and at the outlet for gas.

Hopefully no one is roasting inside with the propane container in the dwelling. Definitely illegal around here. Ideally you would have the propane tank outside feeding the roaster inside just as you would set up a gas range. Roaster would have to be vented to the outside also. Even if you use an electric roaster you still need to vent the smoke/fumes to the outside.

I use my Cormorant in the garage, but if I didn't have that I would not hesitate to use it in the house with a propane tank. It has a 4" flexible duct that I would put in a window. That would evacuate most the coffee smoke as well as carbon dioxide from the flame.
Even with an electric roaster, you still need to find a way to get rid of the smoke.

I do all my roasting with the Cormorant in my house but the propane tank is outside & the roaster is vented to the outside. I'm also located in the country with no close neighbors. If you are in town or have a neighbor close you might be limited as to what you could stick in an open window.
