Bump to add the BC-600. Looking forward to seeing firsthand user reports on the MCR-500 to add to the Index as well.

Can you please add the SF6 under San Franciscan. It's quite a good choice based on my research if someone wants to hit 3 kilos.

Yes, but it's also starting to exceed the limits of what a hobbyist is going to use at home. I love the San Franciscan line of roasters. The current owner was my 5th grade elementary school teacher 8) But I don't want to see this list turn into an endless pile of every single roaster under 10 pound batches.

My reason is pretty simplistic. I think times are changing. And why classify this post as hobbyist? When I read the forum, I see it go way beyond hobby status. I think anything beyond 3 kilo is commercial based on my investigations. In the alternative shall we start a post for slightly larger.

People should also understand the size as part of the buying decision. What might they want to grow into. The SF6 is known as a great Farmer's Market machine. Is that a hobby? Yes a serious one. I agree it's at the limit. A 6 kilo machine is beyond it.

Finally it's just a list and relevant one. If the 3 kilo machines were on the list, I would have saved a ton of time when I first started looking.

That's amazing. Hope you learned alot in 5th grade.

Nice machine, but I think they go out around $25K. A bit bold for commercial operation, let alone a home roaster.

True. I think there are a number of people that use a 3 kilo for Small Commercial like the thread tittle. I ended up going way smaller. Glad I did for my purposes.
