Roasted coffee storage recommendations (40-50 pounds)

Hi guys,
I am roasting heavily and I want to know where to storage the beans for some days-1 week, something like 40-50 lbs of roasted coffee.
I was searching the web and there are some "Premium Airtight Pet Food Storage Container" but they are made for pet food:

Do you think it may work?
Maybe there is a specific brand for coffee, but I dont know.
Could you help me?

You want to store the coffee -after- you roast it? For yourself or for selling to others? What time frame?

I use Vittles Vaults for greens. Should work. These have wheels which is a plus. You will need to clean them often.

Hi! Yes. For selling to others, and 7-14 days timeframe which is the stock of roasted coffee I usually have.

Thanks, they seem better than the container I've found. If there isn't anything better, I think I will choose it.

My 50lb vittles holds 65lbs of coffee. Note though that some friends said they don't stack well even though they are advertised as such. The 35lb and below seem to go sale on Amazon fairly often but have only once seen the 50lb on sale. I picked up two for $25 each at that time.

Why not just package it for sale? You have to do that eventually. While one batch roasts, put previous cooled batch into .5 or 1 lb bags. Unless your talking a huge roaster, easy to stay caught up. Just a few bags per roast.

I personally wont buy fresh roasted coffee more than 3-5 days off roast. Nor would a local shop i go to have anything older than that. Even 5 would be exceptional , its 0-3 for 95% of stock. Your selling 7-14 day old roasted coffee? Gives purchasers no shelf time.

I use smaller containers and cool them on a 4°C (39°F) environment to extend shelf time. My 7-14 days at T=4°C (39°F) are equal to your 3-5 days at 20°C (68°F) in terms of coffee components degradation. Of course, when I take out the airtight container from the 4°C environment, I wait for the temperature equilibrium between ambient temperature and beans temperature before opening it. With that operation I avoid condensation of water vapor prior to packing.
