I just noticed Permatex has a high temp (500F) Black RTV for optimal color coordination. :D

I think they have also upped the black to 600F-700F for short time periods. The gray is 700 continuous which is quite good when you start looking for 500F+ flexible gasket material.

All interesting things you pickup from a lifetime in heavy industry.

Should probably set that roaster up with a CO2 fire suppression system. 8)
