Awesome setup! What are you using for a burner?

Im seriously considering this over the Huky. I need to be able to roast about 5 pounds or so each session and would love the extra capacity. As it sits, with the extra cooler, it looks like the total with shipping will come out to:

$1552

If that pricing is right, I'm not sure how you could go wrong. Sure, you don't get the stove or the nice chaff collection system that the Huky has, but I am sure I can modify everything to work.

Your shipping costs are off. I dont know how far off, but I see in your screencap that the weight is listed at 1.6 kg. The roaster is 13 kg and chaff collector (if you get it) is 10 kg. I tried to find a shipping estimate recently and I think the ballpark was ~$300 (with chaff collector)

Ah, you are correct. I also would rather have the solid drum version and that is not on sale. The new total:

$1841.03

I've also been trying to figure out whether there are import costs and/or brokerage fees for shipment/delivery of such a large item.

Any idea?

I would imagine that they don't mark the item as a high dollar item. I have bought quite a lot of stuff overseas and have never been charged anything extra.

I got mine through ebay 4 days after purchase no taxes duty or fees were taken. There was one piece missing and they over nighted it from S Korea.
