Thanks!
Here is the price list for the HUKY and its peripherals.

Mr. Li can be contacted directly at that email address.
He's very easy to get on with :-)))

Sadly, the shipping cost is $50 to $60.

Did you get a quote from him?
I just emailed him for the shipping cost to USA and also to Canada.
I should have checked with you first...

And you are spot on. Here is his answer

Shipping via EMS----58 USD (4~5 days receive)
Shipping via Air Mail ----53 USD (10~14 days receive)

P.S. At least I can stand firmly behind my statement that Mr. Li is easy to get on with. It took all of 10 minutes from the time I emailed him until I got an answer..... :D

Also interested in the Fortis vs Huky 500T, looking to buy soon.

Some mention of "improvements on Huky design" that the Fortis addresses - can any of the Fortis/Huky owners elaborate?

My uninformed opinion: seems like Huky would be the choice if you wanted a solid drum, and fortis has the advantage of potentially larger roast size. Both good design and potential for back to back roasts (the 500T really helped)

The Kaldi website, http://kaldi.co.kr/, has a machine listed, with a dedicated page, that they call the Kaldi Classic. It is a few hundred dollars cheaper than the Fortis, and definitely looks like something in between the Wide and the Fortis. I haven't been able to locate any information on it, either on EBay, GMarket, or Google search. I sure would like to know about it if anyone has any ideas.

Thanks, all!

Keep us posted if you would.

The larger batch size of the Kaldi makes it attractive. 1lb roast output is a big bonus in my book especially if the quality is as good as the 250 g batches in the Quest or Huky that can both go back to back.
