For Colombian beans, I usually load the beans at 275F. I turn off both the fan and the heat at 1:00 after first crack starts. I normally drop the beans at 2:15 after first crack starts. Here is the profile for my latest roast:

One thing I have learned is that "less is more". To get to first crack at about ten minutes, you may have to roast 1/2 pound or less of green coffee.

For my 2012 Hottop, I started out roasting 265 grams. But I slowly started reducing that amount, and getting better tasting results. After two years, I settled on 195 grams as the maximum amount to roast which gives me the best results.

I never take Colombian coffee to second crack, prefer it a bit lighter.

I am surprised you got to second crack so quickly. I turn my heat and fan off completely at 1:30 after first crack starts, then let it coast from that point.
