I needed a nice Costa Rica coffee, and tried the San Francisco 1900 Tarrazu Micro-Lot 2017. My wife and I both were very happy with this one:

it says that it's out of stock. Not sure if you noticed or not.

I did but the beans will be back I would guess. I have tried the Red Hazaar A++ and like it very much but was curious how this might stack up to it.

Yemen Red Marqaha, at its best, is one of my very favorite coffees. But it differs a lot, year to year. The most recent batch was tasty, but did not grab me nearly so much as what came the year before. If my memory is not failing me, that older lot had a 92 score. It was awesome. I like to have two roasted coffees available in the morning, and I make one cup of each in the press pot. For the whole time that that older lot was available, one of those two was the wonderful, cherry-saturated Yemen Red Marqaha. I couldn't do without it. I kept re-ordering it. The next year's lot was less cherry, more (as the tasting notes describe it) cantaloupe/cherry, or (as I would describe it) banana/cherry. Just not as compelling to me.

I am hoping for a return to form with this year's batch.

I found this Colombia to be excellent for espresso. The pear really popped through and I found this coffee description to really describe it.

Also, can anyone recommend a green with a lot of acidity? As my stash of Kenyans are winding down, I'm hoping for something really grabby and punchy.
