Joe,

For the same machine and the same bean, the roast level (the color or the darkness of the bean) is strongly correlated to the % weight loss and the final drop temperature (or the FCs + x degrees).

I don't have this particular SM Pacamara bean. If using the same machine and the same heat, it seems to me that after the First Crack Start the elephant beans have faster RoR than other beans.
