So this Raspberry release appears to be so far the only, and cheapest, way to run an Artisan (embedded into a commercial roaster) without the need for an external computer, right ?
Is there somewhere a RasPi install/setup tutorial ?

Crap, I just sat down for a 3 hour evening of roasting with 1.2 for the first time and am getting an error message: Phidget too many values to unpack. I can't find my old version. I'd dead in the water.
Update: found 1.1 on GitHub. Roasting again.

Did you read the release notes on downloading and installing v1.2?

I've never read release notes in my life. They give me a headache.

With the latest release I had to download an updated driver for the Phidget. Once that was installed (easy peasy), Artisan 1.2 was up and running without a hitch.
