I'm having issues reading the temperature of my BC roaster, bluetooth or wired USB into the Artisan software. I had to switch to my TC4 to be able to roast. Anybody else having issues with the new release?

Was it working on 1.3.0?

Yes. I wonder if it is the 1.3.1 version or my Mac update. If anybody else is using a BC Roaster, I would love to hear from them.

There was a big change with pymodbus which BC roasters use. Can you try to see if there's any modbus configuration that works? (Config > Ports > Modbus)

Dear Christian,

could you open the MODBUS tab (menu Config >> Port, 3rd tab) and verify that both little-endian flags (bytes and words) are not ticked? Please report if this resolves your issue.

The "words" flag was selected. As soon as I un-selected it, I was able to read the correct temp via MODBUS on the BC Roaster. Thank you, Marko.
