I am using Mac OS 10.9.5
With Artisan 0.9.8(3) my temperature probe readings are correct (Modbus type UDP with RTD probes).
With Artisan 0.9.9 (1) my temperature probe readings are about 20 degree F below.
What is wrong??

Can you switch back to the old version 0.9.8(3) and reverse the temperature reading offset? Need to confirm it's due to Artisan version issue; otherwise it could be something else.
Anyway, here is a simple workaround
Config -> Device...
In the Symb ET/BT tab, add the offset value (+ 20)

Your configuration might be wrong. Before v0.9.9 you needed to configure a divider (1/10 or 1/100) to compensate for the data format sent by the measuring device (being multiplied by 10 or 100 to transport decimal places via simple integer numbers) using a corresponding symbolic formula. That method could potentially conflict with transformation between temperature units due to the order of processing.mfortin wrote:I am using Mac OS 10.9.5

From v0.9.9 Artisan allows to specify a divider per MODBUS input channel in the MODBUS tab of the serial dialog. If a divider is set there one should of course remove the old transformation from the corresponding symbolic formula. One should also ensure that the temperature unit selected in the MODBUS tab correspond to that one used by the connected device.
That is the only change on the Artisan side. Thus your 20 degree F offset might result from some other "change" of your system-
