Are Cormorant roasters still in production?

Discuss roast levels and profiles for espresso, equipment for roasting coffee.

I've been intrigued by the cormorant roaster and have reached out by email to Johan weekly since early May.
I've yet to receive any responses (I've tried 2 different servers and checked my junk mail files, too).
Does anyone have any information?

They certainly are, in fact they've launched a new website

https://www.cormorantroasters.co.uk/

There's a new version of the roaster too.

I emailed him a year or two ago, and he was very responsive. Granted, it's been a long time since then, but I wonder whether it's possible that your email address is landing in his junk mail? Maybe it's worth reaching out from another address.

Individual fan controls & finally the Et probe where it belongs. The rest looks like mine. A few more options available then when I bought mine.

One is fan the other motor - 50mbar capability - I have this installed on mine - Johan fitted it for me a while back to test out.

ok, so the 2 speed drum switch is now variable speed? Do you run it in between the old fixed settings? Make any difference? What's the 50 mbar about? Did he change the built in 37 mbar gas regulator?

I don't have variable speed on the motor - just the 50mbar on the burner.

Make much of a difference with the newer burner?
