anyone have an EG1 in the LA area...?

While I'm sure it would be a heated thread, I can't imagine there's much to differentiate these top single dosing grinders other than possibly ergonomics and styling. The EG-1 and Monolith flat are so similar in their basic mechanical design that I doubt a difference in the cup could be discerned blindly. The Monolith is a deal if you don't mind the wait and the EG-1 is available for delivery now for a premium.

It would be interesting to have a blind comparison of the flat vs conical Monoliths.
