What happened to Macap grinders in N.A.?

Once a common site at coffee shops and some activity on H-B it seems the MaCap grinders no longer garner interest.
Between order and chaos there is espresso.

Yeah they seem to be declining in popularity everywhere. I think it's fair to say that their range is now quite dated and in most cases doesn't stack up well against competing products.
I can't think of a single Macap model that would be considered the best in its category against the competition.

I have recently wondered the same. I still have my Macap M4 stepless and am very happy with it. Though I wonder how their current line up compares to other companies that now seem to have more exposure in the states (Baratza, Ceado, Eureka etc..). Maybe their demand is still high in Europe?

I'll throw in my two cents (may not necessarily be NA but relates to MACAP). Here in Naples area I see them everywhere still in commercial settings. I know their home line grinders are not as popular here in Italy but in bars I see them quite often. The particular example I am showing was taken at my barista class and is is used at my Italian manager's bar. It is the most common model I see.
