Timemore...is this a great commercial or what!!!

Grinders are one of the keys to exceptional espresso. Discuss them here.

Can't wait to see how the espresso performance of the S versions compare to the lagoms and Acaia Orbit.

Fellow certainly had its influence on the industry I see. The type of commercial was unheard before they did theirs.

While I find this commercial rather annoying, it does show the progress in resources.

I do look forward to the product

I wonder if 80mm burrs will be usable on the 78s. They did not also reveal the hp of the brushless dc motor they r using in the ad.

For sure!
I'm seeing the 078 Sculptor for sale in Taiwan for 38,217 NT (1,274 usd). The burr design looks similar to the Yang-Chia 610n, which is a $150 grinder; not in the same category or performance I'm sure.

The Yang Chia 610n are mediocre, lots of fines at the end of grind session, a friend complain why his coffee always bad and bring the grinder to my house, I told him how about now you make your coffee with my c40, end up trashing the Yang-Chia and buy a new C40... :).

I also have high hope with the sculptor easy to get in my country the price +/- similar to the ode + ssp mp.

I like the loo. The only nit pick is the bean hopper looks too similar to the Ode and doesn't fit with the circular aesthetic they were going for. A cylindrical hopper area could have been cool.

Agree it look a bit out of place, not that I really find the design all that appealing but a round hopper for sure would help on the aesthetics.

But if on budget and after a 64mm I think this just ticks more boxes then say the DF64. As it doesn't seem to need bellows and can be run at lower RPM.

I'm looking to buy one but it's a shame it doesn't have 80mm burrs. Where can you get it from?
