for 600-650 for the base 78 model, this is looking pretty darn good considering the ode gen 2 with ssp burrs is 500. Looking at Lance's review and other reviews from Asian YouTubers, this seems to target the df64/83 p64 target audience.

Timemore seems more established than some similar companies. It might be taking a business strategy similar to Japanese consumer goods and car/motorcycle companies during the latter 20th Century, where continued to go up market to higher quality items every few product releases.

And the Ode is stock at the normal high RPM, this alow some very minor RPM changes down to 800rpmIceman2913 wrote:for 600-650 for the base 78 model, this is looking pretty darn good considering the ode gen 2 with ssp burrs is 500. Where I live gen 2 ode is €450 plus €200-250 for SSP it's €650-700 so fundamentally same as I would get the 078 for. This means financially It no longer make huge sense to toss in SSP.
I suspect you can get the 064 for less then the Ode when it comes out with the additional gain of RPM and if you can toss SSP it will definitely have a noticeable advantage over Ode.

Does anyone have an idea of when the Sculptor may be available in the United States?

I can't say about US but in EU it's still in process of CE Certification and that can take a while.

Any indication from Timemore on when they will launch their US kickstarter?

The new Timemore seems interesting and I look forward to reading/seeing more reviews of it. Yet the subject title of this thread "Is this a great commercial or what!!!" sounds like a commercial in itself. I found the actual commercial derivative and too cutesy, but at least it wasn't the coffee porn music kind with that slow "sensual" swirl from the espresso machine after some post-coital grinding. Meh.
