Is it ok to have a grinder positioned near a steam wand and in contact with the steam vapor? Counter space is limited and to fit my 2nd grinder, I can only have it several inches away from the wand.

Concern would be steam moisture getting into/onto the burrs (coming through grind chute) and/or electronic interference.

How close is too close, or no need to worry?

We have our grinder right next to our steam wand, about 7in away from the grinder chute. It shouldn't be a problem if you're always expelling steam into a rag or into a pitcher.
