Sawing a Mazzer Super Jolly

Hello to the group.
I was quite active on this site some years ago, just before some life troubles (nothing too bad, actually) kept me far.
Lately I had time to play with coffee machines again, so I decided to perform a restoration of an old Mazzer Super Jolly I had in the cellar.
Mainly I wanted to lower it, as it was really too tall for my kitchen. For this reason I sawed it.
Here are some images of the operations, from the beginning to the end.
bye

Hey Alberto!
Glad things are okay, and that you're finding time for coffee again
The SJ looks great - I love the colour! Did you spray/powder coat it yourself? Brilliant work!
I also think the SJ looks far nicer without the catch tray, and much prefer the smaller feet you have given it.

no powder coating.
just an high quality spray.
it has been placed in a sea house, thus the color.
bye, alberto.
