Put a weight on top of the beans....they need some downward pressure on them.
They're 'popcorning'.

Can you post a pic of the installed burrs from the top (like your video) without any beans? Also, the pop corning comment is valid: did you originally try the grinder by loading the hopper with beans? If not, try filling the hopper with beans and grinding then.

Bean grinding is only by gravity. No need to push them. Even if i fill full of coffees in the container still the same.SJM wrote:Put a weight on top of the beans....they need some downward pressure on them.

Grinds will only come out at 60 settings

something looks different about the burrs in place to me, but I can't tell with the beans in there in the video. Just a hunch, but if you can post a still pic with the beans out of the grinder, that would be cool

I will post a pic of the burss in place later.
And the burrs disassembled too.
Im pretty much sure that the burrs are in palce.
I just cant figure out which of the burr is defective. I have no spare burrs to compare with.

Take a look at this assembly drawing to see if you have all the right parts in the right order. Maybe they took it apart and didn't have it properly assembled

Not to push them, but to keep pressure on them so that they don't bounce upwards from the action of the burrs.bongag wrote:Bean grinding is only by gravity. No need to push them. Even if i fill full of coffees in the container still the same.

Have you even tried it?
Filling the hopper to see if it makes a difference?

May be needed with some grinders, but I've yet to see a conical grinder not feed well regardless of how much load is placed on the burrs.SJM wrote:Put a weight on top of the beans....they need some downward pressure on them.
