While the favour is good, I found that compared to my previous hand grinder it has significantly more fine grounds which pass through the puck and PF an resulted in the coffee drink. Is it normal and will continue over time? Anything I can an do to improve it? FYI my grind setting is currently at 18 and I am grinding medium dark roast. Thanks.
This doesn't directly answer your question about the NZ burrs but I've been using the IMS E&B Superfine baskets that have a thin screen to prevent fines from getting into my espresso:

Would just make people aware that a conversation set will be made for Niche to take flat burrs to those who has yet to see it

Interesting... it may already be covered in another thread but what's the burr size and approximate pricing?

Also, I'm glad to see their new upper burr carrier uses metal "tabs" (where the springs press) instead of the stock NZ's flexy plastic carrier.

Newer got that clarified as I where a bit late to the party, but the other look to be 64mm SSP MP burrs, but I'm certain other users got a first batch run and can chime in.

There are regular sales when it gets available.

The price does not change, though.

Just found this video. The tip to RDT within the dosing cup is very good - that really reduced sticking coffee to the walls. Also, notice the tip to install the NFC disk in such a way that the burr doesn't prevent the beans from penetrating the hole (mine was installed the correct way purely by change, ha-ha!).

Not sure I like the tapping the outlet but, prefer bellows and they seem to work as well (tapping after bellows didn't drop more coffee when I tested it)
