I've got Lelit espresso machine as a wedding gift recently and hoping to get Niche zero grinder to complete the setup. Unfortunately, Lelit's portafilter is 57mm in diameter and I was wondering if the Niche dosing cup will still fit?

I aware that Niche zero currently makes only 58mm dosing cup but was hoping that 1mm difference will not make a difference in this case. Is any of you running similar setup? Does it fit?

There is very little slop in the fit in a 58mm basket, so I doubt you would be able to get it into a 57mm basket. If you have a funnel, you can always just pour from the dosing cup into the basket, and I believe that's what plenty of people with 58mm baskets do anyway. Or you can forget the cup entirely and grind directly into the portafilter like I do!

I use the Niche with a 57.5mm basket (robot) and it just kind of sits at the top, doesn't make a good mate like with a 58mm basket. I think a funnel or LW style shaker would be your best bet.
