Just wanted to share a new find. I guess this may be first 71MM conical hand grinder??

Was just checking out the chinese equivalent of amazon and interestingly there is a new listing for Helor 106.

https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a2 ... =16#detail

From my limited Chinese translation, apparently before buying it is advisable to chat with their CSO for the delivery timing. The picture obviously shows it is possibly still in the prototyping stage. It seems the turning knob and the grind collection cup is under a certain patent as mentioned in their description.

Using the Mazzer 186C 71mm, could we be beginning to see a new of wave of hand grinders using bigger burrs but maintaining the portability?

I bet it's a blast to try to turn with light roasted coffee in it.

There is a gear reducer in the top cap and handle assembly.

Early series HG-1 was available in 83mm or 71mm Mazzer burrs.

First 71mm "portable" hand grinder.

I'm holding out for the 81mm version.
