No name plate, glass hopper, auger driven. Looking to revamp it and hopefully get it some new burrs. Any info is greatly appreciated! Well built, very heavy!

Wow nice find.

Doug and barb has this grinder.

This is the link to the youtube vid

Did ask them about the grinder, their reply was somewhere in the line of "didnt have it any more" or "misplaced"

Sorry it was a few years ago

The man in the video referred to it as "a beautiful Finnish batch grinder", so I wonder if any of the Finnish or northern countries espresso forums would have any ideas?

I think he says "vintage batch grinder," actually.

I like these challenges, but this is a toughie.

It is fun! Scouring the internet for hints. I was able to get to the burrs today and they are very worn as expected. The OD roughly measures 68.5mm. And 16 is written on the motor and cast into the aluminum...

Thank you to Alicia at Seattle Coffee Gear! I have always appreciated Gale's reviews and having them identify this for me and help me out, makes me like them that much more! Thank you Seattle Coffee gear :)

Now to find some new burrs....

Great resource. I'd love to know more about Ortega grinders. I did some online searches and didn't find much.
