My 2nd hand Compak K3 makes a sound of touching burrs

Hello guys, I hope I can get your help.
The thing is that the adjustment collar has some room of play when Im touching it. The grinder is set to an espresso level grind coarseness and it's NOT too fine, although it makes a sound like the burrs touching each other. However when I grind some beans, it doesn't make that sound.
I tried once to disassemble the whole upper thing including the burrs, and I cleaned everything up and put some mineral oil, but it didn't solve the issue.

Mine does the same thing. Works fantastic other than the chirping noise like you describe.

Mine also has play in the adjustment collar but doesn't make that noise. I wish it did grind finer, so I think a replacement set of burrs is required for me at least.
