I waited until the problem was solved to post this:

Am I the only one thinking your Monolith was so offended by the supermarket beans that it blew a fuse?

Glad you got it running again but do yourself a favor and go to Amazon and buy a box of variable sized fuses. Take the working one and find its specs. Should be etched into the metal ends. It's small but it's there. Always have spares as this won't be the last time your fuse blows. By design it's there so the motor and other components don't fry.

Thank you sir

Definitely plan to do this

Denis got back to me and here is where you can buy switches and fuses

Switch went out on me in about 4 years or so but it does happen.

Lol probably :)

First fuse blown - and it does happen -

But yes - the Trader Joe's beans for me are trash - and it definitely jammed up the grinder

Just ordered some klatch belle espresso but in the interim need to find some beans so heading over to Whole Foods to get some 2 month old black cat - much better than Trader Joe's

There are other options at whole foods that are likely fresher and even better than Black Cat...the search begins for one with a roast date and is fresh :)

Thanks - just have to look around - it's hit or miss by me - sometimes I get lucky and I get freshly roasted cafe grumpy - heartbreaker , black cat and other local roasters (5 days ) but mostly one month old beans to two month old beans are the freshest.

A box of fuses like so could be more cost effective and serve other devices around the house...

That switch part number seems to have no LED according to the part description, FYI. Looks correct in every other respect.
