I ordered the 3d prints! Can't wait for them to get here.

FWIW, the MSDS sheet for the black ABS I specified fulfills the FDA and European requirements for "food safe".

Excellent! Glad to hear, please let me know how you find them? I've been pretty happy with the functional improvements. :)

AFAIK the ABS itself is indeed not the major concern (note careful choice of words there), but more the process of printing. Either way, I don't think these attachments quite fall in the same category as printing for example a drinking glass and using that regularly, so I would like to believe that the risk of adverse substances being ingested from the coffee grounds passing over the plastic is at least somewhat diminished, which for me personally is ok in my current frame of mind.

The prints have arrived and I have put them in the SJ.

Loving it! Takes only a few sweeps of the egg in the doser and I'm good to go.

Credit to the OP and the prints designer.
