I feel ashamed for not checking on this earlier, but the end user is either using the LWW Blind Shaker or the Orphan Espresso Dosing Cylinder, but not both together.

I mentioned before that my Linea, lacking pre-infusion isn't the most forgiving when it comes to basket prep, especially paired with a flat burr grinder instead of a conical. I wanted to get some kind of video for folks to see the Blind Shaker when paired with most common machines that incorporate pre-infusion (like my Izzy Leva). Prior to this, I never thought to use the LWW prototype Blind Shaker with the Leva due to it's size discrepancy. But this first video should show quite clearly how well the two pair together. You get the benefit of one Blind Shaker working with more than one group/basket size. This is all sour grapes for those who hadn't already purchased the now out of production Dosing Cylinder from Orphan Espresso, but maybe another will be developed by someone at some point down the line. * Oops. Never mind.

This is on a San Marco/Izzo Leva portafilter basket. Obviously you wouldn't need the Orphan Espresso Dosing Cylinder on the 58mm standard sizes.

And here's a shot pulled with the Blnd Shaker without any WDT. As noted in the video description, I apologize for the crappy quality. Only having 2 hands and filming a spontaneous thing, this didn't turn out perfectly in terms of focus, etc. But you can see the extraction pretty well

You can still get both styles of dosing funnel from oehandgrinders.com.

I thought I recall you specifically bemoaning the fact that you couldn't buy one anymore, so I assumed they were out of stock. Then OE made a comment a month or so ago that they weren't going to be made anymore. It was my misunderstanding of funnel vs cylinder.

Either way, here they are now.

I was actually looking for one of the plain wide aluminum funnels, which were out of stock in 53.5mm for probably 6+ months until their most recent machine shop run. I think the Ipanema ones have been fairly consistently available in popular sizes. I'm not sure if they plan to stop producing them. In any case, very interesting the blind shaker works with the funnel. I was debating whether to order one to play with and see if I could make it work, and I might just go ahead and do that now.

It gets even better. It even fits the 49mm dosing cylinder. So as long as you have the cylinders, one tool will work with any machine.

Ditto. So many accessories, so little time.
