The control box still exists, but only the power button is on it. It is about 2/3 the size of the original.

Too bad they do not put control unit on the grinder. Now it has 2 boxes.

Technically it's 3 boxes now. But I'm quite pleased with the new mini control box, the servo controller can be totally hidden away now.

I'm also really loving the new doser/puffer tool. Great idea!

If I'm understanding right, there are two larger electrical boxes, one small speed control remote (box), and the grinder itself.

sorry y'all, I left the larger box in the background for reference. There is only one servo motor controller box, and one small controller that you see next to the grinder.

The cords all come from the larger control box. I'll add some text to clarify!
