This is with RDT. Two sprays, in fact.

I've reached out to Option-O. I am at minimum going to ask for a replacement P-64, but am also considering asking for a Lagom-01 as a replacement. I just don't know of I want to put another ~$800 into a grinder though so I think the best course of action may be to see if another P-64 works. The P-64 is certainly all the grinder I need.

Lagom 01 IMHO is better in every other way except for the motor noise. The vertical bean drop, ionizer and the clicker should be able to declump and reduce static significantly

I have the metal kidney bean declumper in mine (purchased early 2022). Doesn't matter how many RDT sprays etc I do the grinds always come out on the hard right side. Raised this issue to Option-O within the first few months of purchasing and they told me to bend the metal declumper a bit allowing for the grinds to come out in the centre. That didn't help at all. I had given up because the quality of grinds was decent but I'd always pause mid grind, level out the grinds and then start the grinder again. Was hoping they would have fixed it by now but doesn't seem like it which is a bit disappointing TBH.

Scott_29 wrote:Is this a known issue with the grinds being poorly distributed and coming out of the chute in a non-even manner? You can see below what I am experiencing. This has the portafilter funnel on it and it's covered in grinds and the distribution is awful...it's much worse than these pics show as I distributed a bit so that the grinds didn't flow over the edge.

Sure, you can WDT as most people do, but I do not feel this is something that should be so poor on a grinder of this price/build.

Seems like a lot of static to me despite the RDT. Do you shake the beans well after spraying them?

Yes. I am shaking them after the spray.

While is was waiting for the hibi forks to come in I designed some forks inspired by their design. If anyone wants the stl to print and promise not to sell them I'll send the files to you. I think my 3d printed version works better if I'm honest.

My P64 arrives tomorrow.
Any recommendations for seasoning?
I selected the high uniformity burrs.

If I had a 3D printer I'd take you up on that. You looking to sell the Hibi forks?

Hello everyone,
I've done 1 week with my mizen p64, still learning it's ins and outs.
Ive found that the shots ground at zero are still running far too quickly. Wondering if there is a way to recalibrate the zero mark? The burrs don't chirp at zero either.

Thanks
