Lagom P64 Flat (Option-O) - Page 225
I have two Lagoms, one model from 2021 and one from late 2022 (new design) and don't have serious static issues with them. With RDT I don't have static issues at all.I'm finding static is still an annoying issue with this grinder despite RDT.
Just one weird thing. It is easy to rotate the grinder clockwise (coarser) but quite hard to rotate anti-clockwise (finer).
For espresso I only use 0.5 to 1.8 setting.

This is to be expected, since there is likely a small amount of coffee in the grinder, you will be met with some resistance when going finer if you do not have the motor running. You should probably have the motor on whenever making grind adjustment's.
Which batch/order have you purchased?DNL1818 wrote:Hi,
I at last received mine !
Happy with it. The color is nicer than in photos.
Black is really mate.

I purchased the mid/late March delivery, they sent an email 3 or 4 weeks ago stating that they would need to delay. I haven't got any news since... Does anyone from the same batch (mid/late March) have any news about it?
I was on the March batch and also received the mail about the delay. The grinder was delivered to me (located in Europe) last week => they are shipping this batch, hope you receive your unit soon, too

Grinds get caught in burrs making it harder to go to finer settings. Even on brand new machine as option O will have run some beans through during QA. Should be fine. I always make sure the motor is on when changing settings and bellows at end (with your hand should be fine).DNL1818 wrote:Just one weird thing. It should turn both ways with similar resistance/fluidity.DNL1818 wrote:Just one weird thing. It is easy to rotate the grinder clockwise (coarser) but quite hard to rotate anti-clockwise (finer).

My espresso settings are in between 0.7 and 1.0, contrary to what the manual suggests ( 0.9 - 1.8 ). It will however depend on beans type and roast level.
Down as far as 0.4 for Decaf, BTW.
Looks like Option-O quietly ended their exclusive US distribution deal with Prima and you can now buy directly at the same price for a June dispatch. Is it naive of me to think that this is a no-brainer compared to the yearlong Prima waitlist, or do people see value in purchasing from someone stateside who could handle potential service issues?
