That helps me a lot to decide, thanks

That said,

This has not been my experience at all. Too late now, as you've sold the grinder, and far be it for me to tell you your experience is wrong, but...

I totally defer to you, as your experience is much longer than mine. That was just my experience, and how I perceived it. I could never get the juicy shots that you refer to with this burr. I'm talking about Diego Bermudes and similar coffees, which I had real trouble extracting shots with any kind of body. They were always just too acidic for me. That could totally be because I'm new to this, and for this reason, please take what I said, with a huge grain of salt. Perhaps, knowing this, I should've offered my perspective on it. what is certain, however, when I went to the SSW burr, not even the LM (which has wider particle distribution), without changing very much, my shots were instantly juicier and had more body and sweetness. Yes at the expense of some clarity.

Interesting,

I have pulled Diego's coffees with HU and really enjoyed them without having to try too hard. No matter, glad you like the SSWs! When I tried them, I liked them just fine. But I didn't notice much of a shift from HU. The difference was pretty subtle.

Interesting... they might be different versions of the HU?

Just got my new Max 2's with SLM and SSW. Even better, even before seasoning. I'm over the moon happy.

How is workflow for you? Is it necessary rdt with the max2?

It's even quieter, very little rententiin and one spritz of rdt totally takes care of static, which never worked this well for the old Max. And th burr is still totally new
