La Marzocco 64mm Ceramic Burrs?

Grinders are one of the keys to exceptional espresso. Discuss them here.

Does anyone have any experience with La Marzocco's 64mm ceramic burrs? Apparently they are made by Ditting, and they are used in LM's commercial Swift grinder. I can find almost zero information here about them.

Considering getting a pair to try in my P64 or JT64, but they're quite pricey for making a blind purchase especially when considering how cheap Baratza's 54mm Vario ceramic burrs are.

Any opinions?

Nothing to add except I noticed these too and if I had a 64mm I would have pulled the trigger and grabbed a pair.

I'm assuming they would be interchangeable with the other 64mm but maybe it's worth confirming with voltage? If you get them I would be very interested to hear what you think of them.

They look like a hybrid of the SSP cast and the HU burr. If they were cheaper, I'd grab a pair to experiment but I can't super justify an unknown at $200.

I hope someone here grabs them and reports back.

Is the motor easily reversible in a JT64? The Swift burrs run in the other direction from for example Mazzer burrs.

I recall they have good enough body to hold up in milk drinks, on par with SSP 64mm HU, from memory. No side by side comparisons though.
Still own the burrs but have no grinder to put them in. Will provide more info if I get one.

Dang, didn't realize this. Guess that settles that unless anyone knows a way to reverse a P64 or JT64?
