I tried to contact them to buy a Kinu M47 on Saturday via Facebook and today via email but could not get any response. I hope they have in stock and reply me soon. There are a lot nice words about Kinu here and I decided to go for it.

I've heard that they're going to open pre-orders in a couple of weeks. Who knows when they're going to have product available though.

I had contacted them twice over the span of 8 weeks. Beyond the automated response nothing. I was interested in the m68. Guess they don't want me as their customer. Waiting is one thing, begging for a response to a buy request another.

They said that the launch would be a big bang and they're not taking orders in the meanwhile. I rather have them up-and-running a couple of weeks earlier then responding to all those nonsense emails of 1000 people asking for prices and when to order just slowing everything down. Just be patient or buy a lesser grinder and stop whining. If you'd read this topic you should have known better.

They want to serve there customers as good as possible and not letting them down by launching too early. They do a very good job but are overwhelmed by there succes and needed to get everything right. So it's not that they don't want you as a customer, it's you being impatient. It's gonna be well worth the wait.

Answering those "nonsense emails" in some form is basic customer service. Comes with the territory of running a business.

Doing business is not only selling but also responding customers. If they provide one simple piece of information, with price and order, they are in the win-win area without a hussle.

I agree that they should have done better in communicating but what's the point of posting it another time in this topic. The last couple of pages several people here have stated that they didn't respond to their emails. There is more information about Kinu finishing a big order in this topic a couple of pages back so another post about them not responding is completely useless and as expected.

I'd love it if they would put the M47 in a knee mill version at the same price. I'm just not a fan of the cylinder types.

Except that they are not in business yet.....

So people wanting to buy things they are not yet offering for sale retail is basically whats happenning.

I expect they are focusing on getting a sizeable order produced to supply a dealer network. Thats got to be the focus of all the traveling to expos and shops that they did in the last several months

I've been in contact few times via their Facebook page.
They are still working on their website. As soon as they done, they should start selling (via website) and start shipping. Should be "any day soon".
