Kafatek Pre-Orders for July 11

Just got the email notifying me of the next pre-order date for Kafatek Monolith grinders, July 11 at 12pm PDT (3pm EST). I am sitting this one out but it's always exciting to see what people go for on HB. There was specific mention there could be delays due to COVID-19 for his suppliers but that will remain to be seen.

I currently have a mc3 en route down under of this batch.

Thinking really hard if I should shoot for a max this round with the burr adjustment

What's wrong with me...

I just ordered a Monolith Flat

I was able to add the Flat Max to my cart, but it was sold out by the time I tried to check out. Super bummed out.

If there's anyone that got a Flat Max and decides between now and the production time that they don't want it, I'd love to take their place!

Just for fun, I took a Max all the way to check-out and then stopped. Could have had it. The conicals were in stock for more than 10 min. I held off. More for the rest of you!

Apple Pay is the move for Max. I've used it 3 times without issue.

I was all set to grab a regular flat..

And then I decided not too.

Im not 100% yet why I made that decision ?

The Max and flat sold out in 3 or less minutes. That's insane.

I picked up a max on my first ever try. I used my iPad which auto fills all my information. I was able to check out in less than 10 seconds. That must be the key. Out of curiosity, does anyone know how many are made per batch?

Guess I'll try this next year
