Love the idea of the purge button. He also mentioned on Instagram today than the Flat has somehow gotten even quieter! Very excited for my Flat, hoping to pick it up in person while up in Seattle for the SCA Expo.

I don't think you missed anything, this is shipping for preorders from February I believe ...

To clarify: Are we talking about the pre-orders that were taken in earlier this year for delivery in April? Or, are we talking about the next batch? Denis told me about a month ago that the last batch "sold out in 3 hours as soon as I opened up pre-orders in January. Next round of pre-orders will open in May for June/July production run."

Regardless, I've also been on the email list (on two accounts, in fact) and received no email last night. Was this only for people with orders place and arriving soon? I'd be really disappointed to miss the opportunity to place an order for the next round of flats.

The email was sent to people who placed orders for grinders in January. They are expected to ship soon.

I'm one of the people receiving a conical soon. Put a $500 deposit down a few months ago. It took me two production cycles before I got the email that notified me that they were in stock. Then, if you hesitate even a day they will sell out.

I guess I'm also someone waiting for an email to order one up I'll remember not to hesitate once it shows up! I have a chinese knockoff of a distribution tool that looks similar, I like it but I'll know further once I can try it with a better grinder. Probably going to order a OCD as well just to support the people who contribute to this hobby of mine.
