Finally got everything hooked up last night and pulled some shots. Hands down best grinder I've ever used. Brilliant design and execution by Denis.

Are you saying that the bean breaking noise in M Flat is quieter compared to Conical? How much longer does it take to grind on the Flat?

Can't believe you're still at work??? Go get a not-feeling-well leave.....you know the anticipation is killing you on the inside and it's a completely legit excuse to leave early :D :D

The bean breaking noise is quieter than the Conical. The motor noise is also substantially quieter, particularly in the 350-400 RPM range that I generally use. Grinding speed is slower at the low speeds that I prefer, of course. I never bother to time it, but it is a lot slower. I care nothing about speed.

Congrats! Are you shaking from all the espresso yet? I've only had one shot so far today with mine. I figured I would give it a good break in and in about an hour I'll be at almost 15lb of coffee ran through it. After speaking to Denis he recommended for every pound wait 10-20 minutes before running another so it's taking a little bit...

The only shot I had (the first one I actually drank as I dumped a few when dialing it in) was the best shot I've had since I got my new machine!

I think those arrows indicate that side should be the top!
I drink two shots before I drink two shots, then I drink two more....
