Anyone have recommendations for getting beans into the funnel? The space between the funnel and the top of the grinder is extremely small; too small to tip my dosing cup into.

Found this on amazon - its 1.8 in diameter and the shaft gap on the HG1 Prime is 2 in.

I use this for my Pharos. Works excellently for dosing/weighing/pouring. It's flexible so it pours easily.

This is similar in shape to the other ones posted, and also works well. Due to limitations of my space, I have my HG-1P up against a wall on the left, and I can still get in there with this just fine.

Also in regards to my small space, it has to sit on top of a wood cabinet. That was not working well for stability - I got lots of hopping. This gets worse as any coffee grinds that have fallen end up scootching between the base and counter surface and act as ball bearings. I did not want to drill it or stick it down with VHB tape for permanent mounting due to the hassle of removing it for cleaning.

I ended up purchasing a smooth granite board which is heavy enough to stay in place on the cabinet and provides way more friction with the stock silicone base of the HG-1P. I figured I could drill or tape to that if needed, but in a pleasant surprise that has been completely unnecessary. No more skipping, easy to remove and lay it down for a deeper cleaning, looks nice.

Does anyone know of a source for a nicely made metal popcorn lid that fits the funnel and shaft? That is my last little annoyance to resolve, but I cannot bear the janky plastic solution. Well that, and that I keep emptying the tumbler into the robot portafilter with no basket present on no-coffee-brain ... but that is hardly the fault of the grinder.

You could order the "popcorn lid" that is designed for the WW Key grinder from Weber.

Would love to, but I don't see it for sale.

Email them, I've purchased parts that weren't on their published list.
