Another option is to pre-portion beans into either fancy bean tubes or simple centrifuge tubes. They can even be kept in the freezer and ground cold.
Just went through this, mahlkonig e65s gbw is the way to go. Id rather not have to worry about bean consistency daily. I know the weight is perfect every time, it'll last for decades, it's pretty, and the workflow is unbeatable. I skip wdt half the time because the grounds are perfect and centered..just a tap and tamp.
