Coffee lover for over 20 years. Started working on a conical burr grinder about 4-5 years ago and had some parts made but had to put it on the back burner for a while. Recently decided it was time to finish it up. Figured I would go ahead and post some pics of the current build/prototype and document the rest of it here.....thought it would be right up this forums alley...lol

A couple of pics....more to follow....

Thanks,

Jason

I started the project several years ago after I purchased an Aeropress and Hario mini hand grinder. At the time I was dying trying to grind my beans by hand and would be out of breath if I had to make more than one person a coffee...lol. I was also looking to start making espresso/coffee at home and thought it would be a cool project to make a small batch of grinders (have a few coffee lovers in family/friends). Main goals at the time were to create a straight pass through grinder using 68mm conical burrs, small footprint, fit under kitchen cabinet, and be cool enough for my wife to let me leave it out on the counter fulltime.
