I have yet to have my coffee taste rancid because I'm not cleaning the burrs. Has anyone else here tasted rancidity in their coffee because they're not wiping the burrs with isopropyl alcohol?

rarely ever cleaned my breville dose control. never felt the "rancid oil" affected flavors.

when i did clean it, all i did was take it out to the garage and blow air through it with my compressor. looked almost brand new and only took a few seconds.

having said all that, i ran a lot of light roast through that grinder that was not very oily. i typically stay away from oily beans in general.
