Here you can see a short video showing the grinding process. popcorning is reduced quite a lot, only a few small parts are jumping around before they are ground. Grind time is about 14 seconds for 18 grams now, plus a few seconds for pumping the bellow.

I am going to make a longer video showing the whole process later on. An STL File for 3D printing will be available tonight. Compared to the previous version, the funnel is easier to print an prints faster (about 3,5 hours).

One thing I noticed from your video is that the bolt that holds the lower burr looks like a standard flat top bolt, and therefore below the upper burr carrier when everything is assembled and grinding. You can see shards bouncing off the top of the bolt in the video. On my grinder the bolt actually extends through the upper burr carrier hole. If I were to make a guess this may help narrow the bean path and further limit popcorn effect. Just a thought.

This picture is from a Eureka grinder

Edit: I went back and realized that you made the funnel for your Eureka. My bad.

Ben, have you seen how Option-O covers the inlet in the Lagom P64? Wondering if something like that could be trivially added to your creation here to further help with popcorning?

Ah ok, so more or less the same thing that normal hopper Grinders have:

The difference is it is attached to the upper part of the "hopper", which is a nice idea. Not shure how to do this with the G-Iota, considering the bellow.
