Whats the best way to buy one of these in Canada? Looking at alibaba its $500CAD with the exchange rate plus shipping and duty (the one seller that had shipping costs listed was another $120USD). I can buy one from coffee + tales for $587CAD total shipped from Vancouver so no duty to worry about. Is this the best option? I'm in Montreal if that makes any difference

Coffee Addicts also sells them, out of Calgary I think? No idea offhand of prices, shipping, etc, but another option for you.

Not sure about the best way, I bought only once and one
I got mine pre-order at coffee-&-tales, a lot better offer than ali-whatever...

Ended up buying one from coffee + tales, pretty excited to get this thing going but wondering what anti-popcorn mods everyone has had the most luck with? Is this the current best option? https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4899743

Not using my own printer so dont want to waste time/materials if theres a better option.

This is the one I'm using and works. I'm sure the one you linked works as well.

Haven't started using the DF64. I don't have a 3D printer. What I have in mind for the anti-popcorn measure is this simple funnel. I'll cut it so that the mouth opening would fit in the bellow, then cut the small end to have a proper size exit. Walmart has it for a few bucks for three.

I think the difference is that a 3d printed funnel can live semi permanently in the bellows.

I use the same funnel that Rich linked to above. I find the advantage over the other design is that the inside surface is not ridged and won't catch beans or stray grounds. I also find it worth the time to really sand and polish the inside surface of the funnel (starting with coarse dry sanding and progressively working to fine wet sanding), as a glasslike surface prevents even more grounds from being retained here and helps the beans slide into the grind chamber.

And in my experience, an anti popcorn device didn't real affect my grind time or quality significantly. It did however keep the bean chute and bellows much cleaner as it shields grounds and dust from being kicked back up.

That's the one I have as well.
I like the fact it "clips in" between the bellows and the machine itself. Very satisfying to install.

I did not use any of the antipocorn 3D printed, i made my own one but for sure i think the version without any groove in the funnel is better, mine has a very smooth surface ( even less inclined than the 3d printed version) and no any beans or flakes stuck on.
