Eureka Zenith 65e firmware

Grinders are one of the keys to exceptional espresso. Discuss them here.

Hello. Not worried, but got this mystery-number on my Eureka screen today:

What it seems to tell? Never seen before, or after.

On info, they say I have firmware 3. Have somebody got firmware updated, and how?

Weird!

I have the same grinder but never seen this before. I also don't know what the number 15 means in the second picture. It seems well used by the way (getting close to 10.000!) Also the manual doesn't state anything about this. You could consider 'resetting' the grinder by switching it on with the double dose button pressed.

Yes, purchased 2014, after getting fed up with a joke called Vario. This 65e is just a workhorse.
I got nothing to blame it. Should have been the choice at the first place.

Nice! I recently bought one myself (second hand)a month ago so good to know it can last a long time.

Display brightness, adjusted using + and -
I just rtfm'd it, and verified on mine. Sadly, the manual shows a version 9.1 of firmware, and I am stuck on 4.1, which probably means that all my grinder will do is reliably deliver ground coffee. Oh well...

Yes. I'm too a bit oh well.
But intrested of the process of update and knowing what is there.
Not must to having "something new!" or any need or any problems on software. Just kinda academic intrest.
Is there a plug to put pc, or have to change a ic on mainboard or what.

And that is also intresting stuff that as we tend to be plenty nerdy bunch, still nobody talks about updating firmware of grinders or coffe-machines.
