Eureka Mignon MCI settings

Hi folks,

I got a Eureka Mignon MCI. I'm very happy about the setup, but I've not managed to pull a decent espresso shot under Timer settings, and I'm wondering if it's my grinder setting is the problem.

For a double shot, i trying to grind 18 grams of coffee but even under max timer time (16sec) I'm able to get max 16 grams, so I have to switch to manual till I get to 18 grams of coffee.

Ive also tried to play with level of grinding as i though that I'm grinding too fine but I'm getting a good shoot with this settings, so I'm not sure where I'm doing wrong?!

Any help or advice will be highly appreciated!

You can set it to 9 grams and dose twice..

I'd be interested to hear if this issue goes away as the burrs break in.
