Great! thanks for the comparison. Would it be possible for you to measure them up? I'm looking for internal and external diameters for the upper burr and the top and bottom diameters for the lower burr. Also if you could check how thick the burrs are I'd really appreciate it.

Cheers,
dsc.

It would also be interesting to do a Rockwell hardness test on them.

I always "knew" that they are identical, except for the outside diameter. Which is why I always looked at burrs size as somewhat meaningless, since they measure only the outside diameter.

Yes. That burrsets are looked as twins. But I have no idea about the material of that.
Recently COMPAK made new burrset that have same cutting design as past k10's.
But new burr is made with new material, and compak company didn't announce that also...

The only thing that I know is new burrset have attractive friction.
As you see, burr's color is red. So burrset is named as RED SPEED.

What is the super lattice?

Field testing..

Actually, It used by one competitor in WBC 2012.

I received several grinders for test use a few day ago, and yesterday I used it the red just a few times.

Personally really impressive. It have more torque and works more stably.

Thank you for the close-up comparisons. I'm fascinated to see that the Compak K-10 burrs are functionally the same size and have almost identical geometry on the cutting surfaces as the 71mm Robur burrs. For hand grinder folks the Pharos should be equivalent to the HG One in grind quality.
