Just curious, has anyone installed this on a model with the SCM attached? I received my upgrade but I think either it won't work on mine or I have to remove the SCM "flap". There is no arch in the worm gear top plate for the SCM adjuster to pass through. Beside that, it looks like the top plate will be a perfect fit. Im concerned, though, because whenever I've ground coffee with the SCM completely open, I get sprayed with grounds, they don't drop down the chute.

I'm curious, were you able to get this to work?
