If you haven't yet, watch the the newbie introduction to espresso videos in the How To section of the forum. I would recommend reading as much as you can here. There is a wealth of information here and people are always willing to help. Stick to brew ratio, weighing your dose and yield. Don't forget you tube videos as well.
